Volume 3 - Chapter 326: Supreme Being of the Celestial Palace - Part 1
"The Chu Emperor is personally seeing us off?"
"That’s only the Chu Emperor’s Dharma Aspect, not his true self."
"So fast… the starry river flashes like light and shadow. Has the Chu Emperor already become an Immortal Emperor?"
Within the Immortal City, the flying ships of various sects were docked. From inside, disciples and elders could all sense the flickering light and shadow of stars and moons outside the city.
Streaks of flowing brilliance shot past. It wasn’t that the stars were speeding by, but rather, they themselves were racing forward—so swift it defied comprehension, like the cosmos itself had shifted.
The vast southern domain flew past in a blur, visible only as indistinct remnants. At most, one could faintly glimpse the enormous and distant landmass, vaguely outlining the mountains and rivers of the Yan Chu Immortal Dynasty.
"The Southern Domain Battle Assembly, with seven dynasties vying for supremacy… Each one is fiercely contending for a place in the Primordial True Realm. Unsurprisingly, some may resort to underhanded means."
Inside a palace hall aboard one of the ships, the Great Dream Master raised her head to glance outside, then turned to Li Hao and spoke.
Li Hao nodded. He had encountered ambushes before during his time in the Land of All Heavens.
Though they had now moved from the False Realm of Tianyang into the True Realm, human nature remained unchanged. Hearts were no purer than before.
Li Hao withdrew his gaze from the boundless starlit sky outside the ship, which shimmered like shadows of light, and lowered it to the porcelain painting before him, carefully examining its brushwork.
Seeing Li Hao so calm and focused, the Great Dream Master’s lips curved slightly into a soft smile as she quietly accompanied him.
Time passed swiftly.
The Chu Emperor’s Dharma Aspect, with one hand lifting the Immortal City, and a coiled Primordial Dragon of Chaos wrapped around the city, chased stars and moons alike. In just a few days, they reached the heart of the Southern Domain.
As they approached, the immortal energy in the surrounding starry skies became noticeably denser than in the Immortal City of the Yan Chu Dynasty—comparable to the capital of an Immortal Dynasty.
And amidst this vast heaven and earth, in a boundless sea of stars, a radiant and resplendent continent floated like a luminous jewel.
That continent stretched beyond the eye's reach, spanning billions of miles. Its outer layers were encased in a silver-glowing celestial barrier, brimming with pure immortal energy.
“We’re almost there. That is the Celestial Palace.”
Inside the ship, the Great Dream Master raised her head, calmness flashing in her eyes, and spoke to Li Hao.
Li Hao was in the middle of discussing with her how to illustrate the branches of the Time Origin Divine Tree, but upon hearing her words, he lifted his gaze and saw the central point of the Southern Domain—where the Immortal Emperor resided—the Celestial Palace.
Outside that continent, silver streaks of light flickered through the starry sky. Compared to the vast continent, those silver streams were as minuscule as specks of dust.
Yet in that moment, those specks of silver dust surged toward them.
Only when they drew closer did it become clear—they were patrol guards of the Celestial Palace.
Each of those guards was at the Immortal Lord Realm, clad in identical battle armor, with cold and impassive expressions. Even upon recognizing the identity of the Chu Emperor, their demeanor did not soften. They still flew straight toward them with precision.
The Chu Emperor raised his hand and inscribed the character “Yan” in the void, radiating golden light.
Only then did the guards bow in acknowledgment, before opening the path ahead.
With one hand still lifting the Immortal City, and the other behind his back, the Chu Emperor sped forward without hesitation.
Outside the boundless continent of the Celestial Palace, a celestial barrier enveloped the entire realm. The squad of silver-armored guards touched their spears together, causing interlocking celestial patterns to shimmer and bloom in silver radiance. Only then did the barrier open a crack, allowing the Chu Emperor to pass through.
Witnessing this, all the disciples and elders within the Immortal City were inwardly shaken.
Even someone like the Chu Emperor—a peerless powerhouse and sovereign of an ancient Immortal Dynasty—was still bound by the rules within the Celestial Palace.
Once they crossed the barrier, they were immediately surrounded by dense immortal energy, which surged through the city and into the domain of each flying ship.
Even Li Hao, who was seated within the main hall, could feel the immortal energy intensifying, four to five times denser than before. Training here would be four to five times more effective than outside. For those with sufficient talent, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to reach the Realm of Enlightenment in just a few decades.
Whoosh!
Suddenly, a figure appeared out of nowhere ahead. Clad in black robes adorned with a distinctive symbol—an ember-red phoenix tail.
“Feng Leixiang of the Fengyu Clan greets the Chu Emperor.”
This middle-aged man in black robes cupped his hands respectfully, but his expression remained composed and unyielding. Though his aura was restrained, it hinted at power—he, too, was an Immortal King.
The Chu Emperor’s expression was calm. He was clearly used to the demeanor of those from the Celestial Palace and simply said, “The warriors of my Yan Chu Dynasty have arrived.”
“Master is already waiting in the Hall of the Celestial Palace. Please, proceed.”
