Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Ch 1025

Volume 3 -  Chapter 329: Li Hao’s Soul Lifespan - Part 3

Li Hao finished his question, prompting many to cast him strange glances. They couldn't understand what the youth was thinking—how could he waste such a rare opportunity to ask questions?

Others, emboldened by his example, began to speak up. One bold voice asked whether killing and seizing Dao Flame within the secret realm would be permitted.

This question stirred caution among the crowd, yet the one who asked remained unfazed, utterly ignoring the wary stares directed at him. His calm demeanor radiated confidence and arrogance.

“Seizing Dao Flame is not encouraged, but it is permitted.”

The Celestial Guard Commander spoke with a faint smile, his words sending a chill through many geniuses present.

“Once you enter the secret realm, group together. Do not act alone. The other sects will surely do the same.”

The Great Dream Master transmitted her voice to Li Hao and the others, clearly having anticipated this situation and made preparations.

Using her celestial domain, she isolated the surroundings. Within it, none save for a Celestial Emperor could intrude silently. Now, she addressed Li Hao and his companions inside:

“Jingcheng, Huaiyue, and Yechen—each of you is in the Immortal Lord Realm. You must stay close, support one another, and hunt the ancient fiends together. Avoid injury or, worse, death. Any Dao Flame you obtain will be distributed based on your performance. Aim for all of you to advance.”

The Great Dream Master’s tone was solemn as she gave her orders.

The three exchanged glances. Yin Jingcheng and Meng Huaiyue, as senior and junior siblings, had no objections. Su Yechen of the Spear Abyss also knew his position was weak. If he encountered other teams within the realm, the risk would be great.

Especially considering the Celestial Guard Commander mentioned the presence of ancient fiends at the seventh level of the Immortal Lord Realm—an enormous threat should one cross paths with them.

“Haotian, you are in the True Immortal Realm, so you will take the lead. You must take care of the others. Any Dao Flame you slay for will go to you first. As for the rest, distribute it according to their contributions. But if you encounter danger beyond your ability to resist, make the choice that ensures your survival.”

Turning to Li Hao, the Great Dream Master spoke.

As she finished, a transmission echoed in Li Hao’s mind: “If you encounter targeted attacks from Myriad Mountain Sword Tower or other Immortal Dynasties, and the situation turns dire, your top priority must be to survive.”

Li Hao was momentarily stunned. Seeing the solemn depth in the Great Dream Master's eyes, he felt a heavy weight settle in his heart. He gave a slight nod and said:

“I will do my best to bring them back safely.”

“Don’t force yourself.”

Her eyes flickered, and she spoke in a low voice.

Yin Jingcheng’s eyes narrowed upon hearing that Li Hao would be leading the True Immortal Realm group. He felt somewhat uneasy. But with the groups split between True Immortal and Immortal Lord Realms, there was no longer an opening for him to curry favor with the sect’s other geniuses—only Su Yechen from Spear Abyss remained as a potential ally.

“When you enter the secret realm, you must follow Haotian’s orders. Do not act on your own. If you encounter others moving in groups, even possessing Dao Flame won’t protect you—you’ll be robbed and possibly worse.”

The Great Dream Master warned the others.

Gu Yan and the other Sword Abyss disciples looked toward Li Hao, including Lin Mingrong, whose eyes fixed on the youth. He had now become the foremost figure of Sword Abyss, and even the leading figure among all True Immortals in the sect.

The disciples of the other eight Abysses also nodded at the Great Dream Master’s words. Li Hao’s past performance in the Ancient Immortal Realm had already spread through the sect. They all respected this youth.

While the Great Dream Master finished her arrangements, Li Hao noticed other sects had similarly used domain barriers to isolate themselves—clearly, each had chosen to battle within the secret realm as a unified sect group.

At this moment, the Celestial Guard Commander, seeing that the time had come, announced in a loud voice:

“The True Immortal Realm group’s secret realm is now open. Step forward in an orderly fashion. Once inside, you will remain in a holding space. Only after the realm is sealed will you be transported simultaneously into the secret realm. So there’s no need to rush.”

“Also, the landing point inside the realm will be random. If your luck is poor, you may find yourself right beside an ancient fiend. So stay fully alert.”

Upon hearing this, the faces of the various sect leaders changed. If the entry point was randomized, wouldn’t their carefully laid group strategies fall apart?

The plans they had made were rendered meaningless by this twist.

“In that case, Junior Sister, be careful after entering. We’ll find a way to regroup.”

Yin Jingcheng whispered to Meng Huaiyue, glancing at Li Hao out of the corner of his eye. For reasons he could not explain, he felt a sliver of satisfaction.

The other disciples, however, turned grim. Staying near Li Hao was unquestionably safer than facing the realm alone.
