Volume 3 - Chapter 384: Annihilation with a Single Palm - Part 3
High in the skies, Li Hao heard what Ji Ming had said, but instead of joy, his brows furrowed. His first instinct was to look toward the towering figure within the misty clouds.
"You need to leave."
Li Hao sent a quiet transmission to Ying Xiaoxiao. "That Supreme won’t let you go."
"I know."
Ying Xiaoxiao's expression remained calm. She looked softly at Li Hao and said, "As long as you get out safely, that's enough. The future True Realm needs you. The future me... needs you too!"
Li Hao froze, unsure of what she had seen in the future—or perhaps she had come from it?
There had once been a Shi Miao, born from the Source of Time, who had survived even the Ancient Fiend War. Just what kind of mysterious power did she hold that transcended even the tenth layer of the Time Origin? No one knew.
"Are you saying... you're also there, in the future?"
Li Hao sent another sound transmission.
Ying Xiaoxiao gave a faint nod, though her eyes flickered slightly. She reached out to gently stroke his hand and said in a soft voice:
"I really wish time could stop here. But... there are too many Immortal Kings present. And that Supreme... not even I can freeze time in front of him."
She glanced at Li Hao, then looked up at the various kings caught between shock and hesitation. Her gaze sharpened, radiating immense pressure. A chilling battlefield aura poured from her body like the depths of an abyss.
"My master, Emperor Tianyang, never betrayed the Human Clan—never betrayed the Southern Region! He perished upholding the Heavenly Dao, and whatever judgment he deserves will be left to future generations. But the future must not fabricate lies! Must not slander him!"
"You trust the mouths of the living, but not the facts left by the fallen? Who’s truly retreating here? Who’s the real traitor?"
Her voice rang out clear and sharp.
But suddenly, her expression shifted. She looked toward the Supreme with a mix of shock and fury.
Her voice was swallowed by a powerful force. Not a single word left her lips. From the outside, shielded by that isolating power, all anyone could see was her cold expression—her mouth hadn’t moved at all.
The Supreme had frozen the instant before she spoke, framing it as a silent image for the entire Southern Region to see.
"You’ve betrayed my master's trust. You're unworthy of being called a Supreme!"
Ying Xiaoxiao’s face was filled with killing intent as she glared at the Supreme. Her eyes rippled with the power of time, resisting the crushing might of his aura.
"I never imagined you would hide within the long river of time and survive until now. It seems you once grasped the essence of time itself, reaching beyond the tenth tier to control an emperor-level temporal force!"
The Supreme’s gaze was indifferent. "Unfortunately, none of you will leave this place today. I wonder how many more remnants your presence will draw out?"
"You—!"
Ying Xiaoxiao's expression changed. He had dropped all pretense. More importantly, he didn’t say you—he said you all. That included Li Hao.
She wasn’t afraid for herself, but Li Hao couldn’t be allowed to fall into danger.
Even though she had seen him in the future—brilliant, radiant—the future could change. Just like how she had just pierced a thousand years with one palm.
As an Immortal Emperor, she naturally had the power to tamper with fate.
"Despicable!"
Ying Xiaoxiao gritted her teeth. Time surged around her, and a burst of immortal energy exploded forth. The rounded mark on her forehead now gleamed with even greater brilliance—it was an Immortal Seal!
But not the Nine Sequences. This was the legendary Dao-Origin Immortal Seal of the True Realm!
"If we must die... we'll take them down with us!"
Suddenly, she drew a long sword from the folds of space-time. The sword’s light radiated a terrifying domain force—this was no ordinary weapon; it was a domain artifact.
She charged upward—not at the Supreme, but at Jianxin and Mingyue nearby.
They had slandered her master. She would cut down his disciples in retribution.
No matter how powerful she became, she still couldn’t touch that Supreme. But them—she could.
Jianxin and Mingyue froze, stunned. Just a moment ago, this woman had defeated Ji Ming, which had stirred deep emotions and conflict within them.
As fellow personal disciples of the Supreme, her strength had vastly exceeded their expectations.
Now, they found themselves under her killing intent.
"Take her down."
The Supreme gave a cold order.
A burst of power surged out, instantly enveloping Mingyue and Jianxin.
Above the imperial platform, the commander of the Celestial Guards let out a roar and lunged at Ying Xiaoxiao. His body radiated tyrannical Immortal King energy, crashing down like ten thousand mountains.
