Cultivation Begins from Infancy - Ch 1164

Volume 3 - Chapter 374: Then Come at Me - Part 2

He cast a cold glance at Li Tiemu, then waved his hand. Space split open behind him, and from within emerged three talismans glowing with divine light—one gold, one azure, one violet—each inscribed with an ethereal human silhouette.

“Peasant scum like you aren’t even qualified to fight me. If you insist, then try your luck.”

As the three talismans activated, myriad rays of divine light burst forth like threads unraveling from a cocoon. Immortal energy surged in from all directions, coalescing into three radiant phantoms. Their features were obscured by blinding light, yet their auras were unmistakable.

Each figure radiated pressure surpassing the peak of the Immortal Lord Realm—stronger even than Li Tiemu by a wide margin.

Li Tiemu’s face shifted. He immediately recognized what kind of treasures these were. Though the phantoms could only unleash the might of peak Immortal Lords, they were formed from the essence of true Immortal Kings. When employing the battle arts of Immortal Kings, their force was far beyond what he could contend with.

So this was the protective measure reserved for royal scions?

It wasn’t just Li Tiemu; the two elders beside him turned grim as well. In the Immortal Cities of the Southern Domain, countless great clans had issued protective talismans to their younger generations—but compared to this, theirs were child’s play. This was the extravagance of the imperial clan: casually summoning three peak Immortal Lord guardians to escort their youth.

“Today, no one can stop me from killing him!”

Jin Fengling saw Li Tiemu and the others frozen in shock and sneered. His eyes locked onto Li Hao as he clenched his hand. A supreme-grade immortal weapon appeared in his grasp, radiating crimson bloodlust and shimmering with golden Dao patterns.

Among his Nine Sequences, his mastery of the Metal Dao had reached the fifth-layer pinnacle.

He had gone to Origin City in pursuit of the Dao Fruit from the Metal Dao Origin Divine Tree, hoping to ascend to the sixth layer.

Had he succeeded, he would have stood unmatched among all Immortal Lords of the Southern Domain, taking first place with ease.

But Li Hao had ruined that—thus seeding a boundless killing intent in his heart.

“What a terrifying immortal weapon. It reeks of blood.”

“And that oppressive aura of devilish intent... probably fed with ancient fiends.”

“This is definitely a top-tier immortal weapon. No wonder the Southern Domain’s tournament forbids the use of immortal weapons, talismans, and treasures. Otherwise, monsters like this would be unstoppable. He’s only at the third realm of Immortal Lord, but that weapon alone could probably one-shot others at the same level!”

“Such is the foundation of a true prodigy—utterly terrifying!”

“If even an imperial prince is like this, how terrifying must the personal disciples of a Supreme be, wielding treasures bestowed by the Supreme themselves?”

“That Haotian actually rejected a Supreme’s offer to take him as disciple... what a waste of talent. That kind of opportunity is every cultivator’s dream! There’s no path beyond the Immortal Emperor Realm—what was he thinking?”

Cries of shock and regret echoed throughout the crowd, many lamenting Li Hao’s choice.

At the edge of the Imperial Platform, all eyes were drawn to the young man—yet his face held no trace of regret, only a chilling resolve.

“Haotian, go. Even if it costs me this life, I won’t let them touch you!”

Before Li Hao could respond, the calm voice of the Great Dream Master rang out.

Li Hao looked toward the towering, shadowy figure of the Great Dream Master, standing with his back to him. Beside him stood Li Tiemu and the others—none turned to look at Li Hao.

He stared deeply for a moment and said, “It’s fine. If I don’t kill him, I won’t be able to leave peacefully.”

Mingyue raised an eyebrow. He had just been thinking that Li Hao had found a decent sect to rely on, but now it seemed the boy was utterly reckless.

“You really are... completely lawless!”

Mingyue couldn’t help but speak. If Li Hao had relied on a sect for protection and retreated now, he could live to take revenge. But instead, he insisted on fighting. Facing an Immortal Lord wielding a top-tier immortal weapon, he still wanted to strike back?

“Haotian, you!”

Li Tiemu turned around, seething. “Don’t worry about us. Go! We’ve fulfilled our wish. Even if the Great Dream Nine Abysses must lie dormant for another ten thousand years, if that name echoes again through the Southern Domain, then our deaths today will have been worth it!”

His words rang with steel. His eyes burned as they met Li Hao’s.

The two elders beside him also nodded in grim agreement, urging Li Hao to flee.

But before Li Hao could speak again, another figure stepped forward and chuckled.

“Sorry, but it looks like he really won’t be leaving today. It’s not just Brother Jin who has a grudge—I’d like to test him out myself.”

The speaker was a white-haired youth, sword-browed and star-eyed, with an unrestrained smirk playing at the corner of his lips as he looked at Li Hao.

Li Hao turned slightly, gaze sharpening. “And you are?”

He didn’t recognize the man.

“No need to remember me. Since you’ve forfeited the tournament, this doesn’t count as breaking the rules. Brother Jin, you want to go first, or shall I?”

He turned to Jin Fengling, smiling with easy arrogance.
